The Town of Edgewood is seeking individuals age 18+ to participate in a part-time (approx. 20 hrs. per week) job training program. We are seeking trainees in the following areas: Maintenance/Groundskeeping, Administrative, Social Media, and Animal Care.
Participants must qualify for the Workforce and Innovation Opportunity Act (WIOA) Youth Program. Basic requirement is to be within 12 months of high school graduation (before or after) and meet certain household income criteria.
Qualified participants will have other supports and requirements through the WIOA program to assist in gaining workplace skills. Those who complete the WIOA requirements and are selected, will be placed for job-site training with a department at Town of Edgewood.
