Founded in the early 1930's, Edgewood was the homestead of a number of families that still maintain deep roots in the community. The Town of Edgewood stretches out over a 16 mile area in the southwestern portion of Santa Fe County. It is 20 miles east of Albuquerque on Interstate 40. It is 51 miles south of the City of Santa Fe, which is the county seat.

Get ready for spring by learning about composting!
Take a morning field trip to Santa Fe to learn how to compost from the small to medium scale to transform waste into a valuable soil amendment!
Instead of food and agricultural waste going to the dump, learn two methods for composting: Static Aerated Pile Composting and Vermicomposting.
Sign up early - group size will conform to state guidelines.
Participants will be reimbursed for round trip travel from Edgewood to Santa Fe.
