Community Development

The Community Development division works toward improving the social, economic, and environmental conditions of the Town of Edgewood. Community Development staff analyze community needs and develop appropriate land use strategies, develops and implements projects and programs, and collaborates with stakeholders such as community leaders, government officials, nonprofits and private companies. They also provide technical assistance related to land use ordinances and advocate for the needs and interests of the community in various forums.

Community Development includes Planning & Zoning, Code Enforcement, and Economic Development departments.
