Founded in the early 1930's, Edgewood was the homestead of a number of families that still maintain deep roots in the community. The Town of Edgewood stretches out over a 16 mile area in the southwestern portion of Santa Fe County. It is 20 miles east of Albuquerque on Interstate 40. It is 51 miles south of the City of Santa Fe, which is the county seat.

State Launches "Buy for Tomorrow" Website that Pairs Shoppers and Businesses
The "Buy for Tomorrow Today" website (www.BuyNMLocal.com) offers sales to help New Mexico Business Owners Through COVID-19 Closures. The site offers direct access to individual websites where purchases can be finalized for products or services now, by delivery or take-out or when the business reopens. The website includes a registration link for businesses who want to participate. Shoppers can sort by region to find a store near them.

A Petition has been filed to switch to a Commission-Manager form of Government
On March 23, 2020, The Town of Edgewood received a petition for a ballot question to organize the Town of Edgewood under the commission-manager form of government. Edgewood Town Hall Closure
Due to the public health concerns of COVID-19, Edgewood Town Hall will be closed to the public until further notice. During this time, Town Personnel will still provide services to citizens electronically or by phone. Town services, such as police, road repair and maintenance and operations will continue to be fully operational. Parks and Recreation facilities are closed. The Library and Community  Center will also remain closed.
The Edgewood Municipal Court will remain open and operating at this time. For more information about the Court, please call 505-926-9031.
Public Health and Safety is the highest priority for our Town and in order to slow the spread of COVID-19, we have made the difficult decision to close our Town facilities. We will strive to provide the best public service keeping in mind the health and wellbeing of our residents and staff is job number one.
