Police Protection
The Edgewood police department was established in 2008, you may contact Chief

to discuss any interest you may have in helping the department or concerns about
public safety.
The office is located at 1911 Historic Route 66 directly across from the Municipal
Offices. Office hours are 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.

ISO Rating: 6/8B-Lower ISO rating applies to specific areas and subdivisions.
Higher ISO rating applies district wide where there are no hydrants or inspected
water sources.
BURN Permits: Monday-Thursday from 9:30 am to 2:00 pm
- Six full time Firemen/EMS’s
- 50 volunteer fireman
- Fire rating for Edgewood is 6 (Out of 10, 1 being best)
